DIVISION: Field Operations  
REPORTS TO: Construction Project Manager   
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time 
FLSA STATUS: Exempt 
WORK LOCATION: Columbus, Ohio.

JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects related to the deployment of electric and water smart metering systems, installing renewable energy and energy storage projects, the construction of private electric distribution systems, and other innovative energy management solutions servicing multi-family development.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Creates and manages a complex set of schedules through daily interaction with management, project team members, and client teams.   
  • Manages contracts, invoice processing, and costs for subcontractors during construction projects; reports on project budget to executive leadership.   
  • Coordinates NEP projects with external parties, including host utilities, sub-contractors, developers and property managers.   
  • Communicates NEP product and installation standards to external parties; ensure standards are met.   
  • Audits product deployment via site visits before, during and after field installations.  
  • Manages successful client and product setup for various operations teams across all NEP systems.   
  • Identifies activities and milestones, program baseline change control, status and tracking of performance.   
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of projects.  
  • Assesses and communicates risk to team members and the client.  
  • Prepares reports regarding status of projects.  
  • Develops and maintains documentation; includes scope of work and procedures for project activities.  

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.  
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a related field required.   
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.  
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.  

The pay range for this position is below. The specific starting rate will depend on the chosen candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $62,000 (entry level qualifications) to $70,000 (highly experienced).
