• Support Staff: 20 RNs, 12 APPs, 1 Office Staff

• Case Mix:

- Complete Ortho, Complete Vascular, Head Spine

- Neuro, OB, Ped & Regional.

• Required Procedures/Skills:

- Must be comfortable practicing independently & performing regional blocks. 

- General Anesthesia (Adult/Ped), Spinal, Epidural, Neurosurgical cases (spine), Complex orthopedic cases.

- Ventilation mgmt. & Evaluation & mgmt of acute volume/BP issues.

• Beds in the Dept: 250

• EMR: Cerner

• Required to Supervise APPs: Yes

• Other Info: Training for blocks will not be provided.

• Temporary Privileges available: Yes

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active NM License or reactivating

• BC

• BLS, ACLS, PALS

• DEA

• Case Logs (blocks)

• At least 1 yr of experience

• Must live 90+ miles from facility

• Willing to work weekends & take call.

• Enrolled in the NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) for COIs.

• Can do Ped Dentistry & Ultrasound Guided Regional (preferred)
