Pay Rate :

$24.48/hour

 

Category/Shift :

Hourly Full-Time

Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm

The Job You Will Perform:

Provide mechanical maintenance help to maintain equipment reliability in a key operating area of the facility. In their role, maintenance helpers must:

• Must have knowledge of safe work practices and knowledge of working safely in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrate capability to contribute and learn in the following areas: mechanical maintenance, welding, rotating equipment (i.e. pumps and gearboxes), electrical & instrumentation, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Be able to assist in diagnosing, repairing, modifying, replacing, and installing plant mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for all plant equipment.
• Be able to learn mechanical/electrical prints pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Accurately completing administrative documents and following directions in an industrial Environment.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned by immediate supervisor

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experience
• Technical Training Preferred

• Must be able to troubleshoot issues and make corrections
• Basic tool knowledge
• Basic technical troubleshooting
• Lubrication fundamentals
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
