Job Description

A renowned mental health organization serving Queens is urgently seeking a full-time, Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join their compassionate and mission-driven team. With many clients currently on a waiting list, this is a valuable opportunity to provide meaningful mental health care to underserved communities.

In this essential role, you will:

  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to a caseload of 15 20 clients ,
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans,
  • Delivery of services in homes, schools, centers, and other public locations across Queens,
  • Collaborate with supervising LCSWs and other care professionals to ensure coordinated support, and
  • Maintain compliance through timely and accurate therapy note documentation .

To be successful in this position, you must possess:

  • An active LMSW license in New York State,
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a mental health setting,
  • The ability to pass a criminal background check , and
  • Excellent communication and strong documentation skills , including timely and accurate therapy notes.
