Coordinate the preparation of reports and written documentation as required by the department, company and State and Federal agencies. Maintain proper, detailed and accurate dental records. 2. Examine, diagnose and treat dental conditions to provide optimum care to patients. 4. Travels between clinics to work, as needed. Willingness to be on-call, as scheduled, by the Dental Director/ Assistant Dental Director. 5. Willingness to assist Clinic Manager/Dental Manager in supervising the dental staff and assuring that clinic is compliant with State and Federal guidelines. Meet productivity goals, as set by the Arkansas Children's Hospital organization and assist the Clinic Manager and dental staff to accomplish that goal. 6. Maintain a professional demeanor with patients, staff and administration. Supervise Dental Assistants with whom he/she works 7. Treat dental conditions for patients of all ages, and if unable to provide a particular service, to a patient, provide the patient with the appropriate specialty referral. 8. Treats soft/ hard tissues diseases of the oral cavity; perform surgery on oral tissues when necessary; render prosthetic treatment, when indicated; design and place orthodontic appliances for interceptive orthodontics. 9. Provide quality care to the patients of Arkansas Children's Hospital, within the scope of practice outlined by state and/or federal law. Prepares charts and determines the most feasible plan for treatment. Maintains charts and treatment plans and completes required reports. 10. Administer anesthetics to limit the amount of pain experienced by patient during procedure. 11.Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, receiving current literature, and attending in-service meetings and workshops. 12. Other duties as assigned.
