The UC Irvine Student Health Center is a comprehensive outpatient clinic staffed with licensed primary care physicians, psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, dentists, physician assistants, registered nurse practitioners, and registered nurses. Medical specialists from various disciplines including dermatology, orthopedics/sports medicine, gynecology, internal medicine, and ENT provide on-site consultation on a regular basis. Student Health also offers basic radiology and clinical laboratory services, insurance consultation, and an on-site pharmacy, making SHC a comprehensive and convenient clinic dedicated to serving students.
Responsibilities: The dentist will be able to: perform oral and X-ray examinations; perform the full range of restorative procedures; perform dental extractions or operations; perform a full range of dental procedures allowed by the incumbent’s licensure; prepare and keep clinical records; perform dental prophylaxis and non-surgical periodontal services; participate in staff conferences and meetings.
Reports to the Acting Lead Dentist regarding dental quality of care. Reports to Dental Practice Manager regarding administrative matters as they relate to the overall functioning of the Dental Clinic at the Student Health Center. Daily work is coordinated with the Dental Practice Manager, who supervises the schedules and monitors the condition of operatory rooms and X-rays units. Professional relationships are maintained with other providers in the local community.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $114,456.00- $176,086.00 (Annual).
